This is a beautiful Gillows of Lancaster Mahogany Concave Dressing Table dating to Circa 1820. It is in excellent condition and all that was required from my master restorers (Lancaster restoration services) was a light claening and waxing to revive the stunning patina that 200 years had slightly faded. The reeded edged gallery rail and top with concave frieze containg a drawer is flanked by two short drawers. The drawers have the original wooden handles and the piece is raised on tapered reeded legs terminating with original castors. Gillows pieces are highly sought after and this untouched piece with all original features intact is a rare find.
